Bitcoin Mining Council Briefing Update
AUSTIN, TEXAS – April 24, 2023 — After consulting the Bitcoin Mining Council’s (“BMC“) active membership, going forward, the BMC will be releasing its global survey results on a semi-annual basis. The market can expect that, semi-annually, at the end of each respective Quarter 2 and Quarter 4, the BMC will release the updated results.
With the survey data now being used widely and shared across capital markets as well as relied upon by academia, the BMC, being a volunteer based organization has decided that semi-annual disclosure provides adequate market information for key stakeholders to utilize the data results without adding additional resources to manage the collection and distribution.
